Best Gaming Laptop D900C
Introducing the best gaming laptop in the world. This is no exaggeration, the MTECH D900 series undergoes non stop upgrades that has established it as the "Best Gaming Laptop" This time the "F" Series upgrade carries on that tradition. The D900 upgrades to Intel I7 CPU, adds another hard drive for a total of four drives, upgrades the video to a GeForce 280M and - the big one here (drum roll please) - now the D900 has DDR3 RAM which is up to 4X faster than DDR2. To make it even better, we have added a third RAM slot and made it triple channel. Triple channel RAM makes the already faster DDR3 RAM three times faster. This RAM upgrade alone would make the D900F the fastest laptop ever made.

New and possiblythe best gaming laptop of all timeSize does matter; don't let anybody tell you differently. If you're gaming or doing complicated CAD or engineering applications, the bigger the monitor the better (all othrt things being equal). That is why the New MTECH M9800 may just be your best bet any type of heavy duty computing you have. Take the hugely popular M8700, add Nvidia 280M SLI video, multiple SATA II hard drives in RAID 0 for maximum hard drive speed. Do all this and you get the M9800 or as we phrase it, "the best of both worlds" You get the best of the D900 series and the best of the M8700. This could quite possibly be the very best laptop for any tough application we have ever seen. A Mobile Quad Core CPU gives it longer battery life than a D900 but the SLI and RAID 0 give it the edge that has kept the D900 series in the slot owned by the worlds fastest laptop.

One thing M-Tech wants to make clear. For years now  it has been no secret that when you want the best laptop for gaming, you go to M-Tech. It just so happens that if you build a great gaming laptop computer it will be powerful enough to cover just about any other application out there. Who really makes the best gaming laptop. Alienware talks the talk, but once you break it down and look at the MTECH D900C vs. the Alienware m9750, you see that Alienware is a poser and cant walk the walk. (pretty old comparisons here. M-Tech has kicked Alienware's hind end much more thoroughly since this last comparison. Look for our update soon) This is a fairly old review of competing laptops but you get the point. Alienware uses older and less quality laptops as compared to M-Tech. Please refer back to this page for a updated comparison chart. Have you seen the major brand comparison chart? It is fairly enlightening . Read More.

Insightful Comments

MTECH D900C

CPU - Intel Core 2 Duo 4MB L2 Cache and 667MHz Front Side Bus Hard to imagine that Alienware thinks gamers will be better equipped with a CPU that has half the cores less L2 Cache and a slower FSB. CPU - Intel Core 2 Duo 6MB L2 Cache and 1333 Front Side Bus or Intel Quad Core  12MB L@ Cache 1333 Front Side Bus
Video - Nvidia 8700M  Video Options - Single or SLI Alienware's web site say you need the right graphics setup if your are going to compete. Our question then is, why are you not using the 8800M GTX. Perhaps they do not realize that a single 8800M GTX benchmarks faster that two 8700M in SLI. Imagine what two 8800M's would do in SLI. Video - Nvidia 9800M GTX  Video Options - Single or SLI
RAM - 667MHz Forget everything else, if you RAM is slow your laptop is slow. Imagine going into battle against your gaming foe with a gaming weapon 33% slower. Talk about a fast death. That is what happens when you have 667MHz RAM up against 800MHz RAM RAM - 800MHz
HDD - SATA 1.5GBs Alienware says that SATA drives are ferociously fast, what does that make SATA II drives with twice the bandwidth of there SATA drives. What comes after ferocious? Well that us. Cool! HDD - SATA II 3GBs or 128GB Solid State Hard Drives
HDD Options - RAID 0/Stand Alone RAID 0 is way fast no doubt. I wonder how an Alienware gamer would feel if her came up against an M-Tech gamer who used SATA II drives in RAID and had a third drive for a faster scenes loading. Uh-Oh someone getting spanked. HDD Options - RAID 0/1/5/Stand Alone
O.S. - Vista What can we say, DX10 looks good but it is a frames per second killer. Why not try both with an M-Tech? O.S. - Vista/XP/ Dual Boot Optional
