M-Tech isn't a "computer store;" think of us a your technology provider. Since
technology is far more than just parts and pieces, it's primarily information.
There is a whole world of information just waiting for you. When you join that
community, you can expect to experience the M-Tech Three-Phase process to guide
you from the "just looking "phase to being a "die-hard M-Tech fan." Here is what
happens when you call us and join the M-Tech community:
Phase 1
You call
M-Tech and begin a conversation with a tech representative.
We're all pretty friendly!
You begin analyzing your needs.
No one here works on commission, so you can expect a sincere effort to
figure out what you really need in a computer. We do not up-sell! Our
goal is to fill your needs without making you spend more than necessary.
However, we do want a lot of information from you. What programs do you
use? Where do you take your laptop? Why are you thinking of getting a
new laptop? We want to know stuff like that.
You get familiar with
the technology available to you. There are a lot of options, but our
tech representatives already know all about them. Now that they know
what you need, they can help you decide which laptop and configuration
will best fit those needs. This is the part where you find out how to
get the most bang for your buck.
You make a purchase. You can
do this online or over the phone, but either way you can rest assured
that your information is secure.
Phase 2
Your machine enters production.
We start putting together your laptop using only the very best quality
components. Even our most budget-friendly models are made with just as
high quality components as our most specialized, top of the line models.
Your machine gets tested.
We test multiple times through the build process, then we use this
information to make the laptop better. If it doesn't meet our high
standards we actually return the laptop back to the factory where it is
removed from M-Tech inventory. We used to offer an option called
"extreme burn-in and testing" for $130 extra. However, due to our
obsession with making the best even better, extreme burn-in and testing
now comes standard (free) with every order.
Phase 3
You receive your machine and integrate it into your life. It may sound a little dramatic to say that you "integrate it into your life," but it's just that awesome.
First: After you get your laptop and install all your programs, you call M-Tech and make an appointment to talk with a “technical adviser”. From there we take you through your laptop and tweak the settings to get you as much as double your current speed or perhaps as your needs dictate, double the battery life. That depends really on what we feel is best after we talk to the you. We can also log into your laptop and do this for you if you prefer. Either way we teach you about these settings and their function as we go.
Second: Then we lock in this perfection by making a system image and recovery copy.. If a virus, worm, Trojan or even a drive gone bad, slows you down there is no need to worry. You don’t even need any of your original installation CDs. One click of a icon and your restoration, programs and operating system along with the tweaked settings all come back to life.

Phase 3 is a key feature we are encouraging all customers to take advantage of. Most people don’t know that every computer is actually as much as 20% slower after just nine months of usage. This can be from many outside or internal influences. M-Tech doesn’t want our customer showing off their M-Tech laptop when it is anything less than its fastest. Most customers just don’t want to go through the hassle of setting up their laptop all over again, so they let it get slower and sslowwer. Our recovery system image takes the drudgery out of restoring your laptop to its like new speed.
Finally:
You get answers to any questions or issues. Have you ever had a
issue pop up and just had no idea were to begin resolving it? As a final
part of phase three M-Tech will be there for you and make every effort
to give you answers to your *specific questions or at the very least make some suggestions as to how
to research your problem. We are not talking about issues with our
laptop. M-Tech is talking about things like, what video camera should I
buy. Who makes the best printer, what is this new technology I hear
about. If it technology related, your first stop should be M-tech. We
are a technology source not a store. Technology is for the most part
information. Long after your purchase is finished your technology
partner will still be there for you. Think of M-Tech as your geeky next
door neighbor.
