M-Tech Worldwide Warranty Policy
M-TECH Worldwide notebooks come standard with a
one-year parts and labor Return to Factory Depot (Canada, Germany
and Taiwan) warranty. Two
additional years of extended warranty service are available at additional
cost at time of purchase. Please consult your local authorized M-TECH
dealer for extended warranty pricing.
M-TECH warrants its computer hardware products to be free from defective
materials and faulty workmanship under normal use and service for a period
of 12 months from the date of purchase by the end user.
All warranty work and technical support
will be done by M-Tech Laptops or one of its regional affiliates.
M-Tech no longer uses third party warranty companies such as Phillips,
Warrantec, Micro-Medics, etc.. We feel that only M-Tech can provide you
with the very best service and no longer will we trust the care and
quality of service to a paid provider.
Upon written notice of any defect in the computer hardware supplied to
M-TECH within the warranty period, M-TECH shall at its option replace or
repair any hardware portion of the system that it determines to contain
defective material or faulty workmanship.
EXTENDED LIMITED WARRANTY
An extended M-TECH warranty can be purchased for each additional 12 months
at an additional cost. M-TECH offers the following extended warranty

EXCLUSIONS
The warranty on your M-TECH computer shall not apply to defects or damage
resulting from accident, abuse, acts of third persons, power fluctuations,
environmental conditions, any force of nature, or other cause beyond M-TECH's
control, alterations to the equipment at Customer's direction.
M-TECH shall not be liable for any incidental or consequential damages
including but not limited to loss or injury to business, profits,
goodwill, or for exemplary damages.
WARNING: Shipping damage as a result of inadequate packaging is the
customer's responsibility. Use the original packing material whenever
possible.
REPACKING GUIDELINES for RETURNING your COMPUTER
Remove and retain cables and accessories. Ship your notebook complete with
battery pack(s), AC Adapter and/or defective accessories.
1. Include a detailed problem description and/or test samples which
illustrate the problems you are having.
2. Package well. Use the original shipping container and packing materials
if possible.
3. Provide your complete name, address, telephone number and fax so we can
contact with you if required.

- LCD Pixel policy
- M-Tech's standard LCD Warranty Replacement Policy is called
LCD667 (6 – dark/dead, 6 – hot/bright, 7 – mix). It is based on
LCD warranties currently offered by our LCD vendors (i.e. LG,
Panasonic, and Philips).
- M-Tech offers optional 30-days Zero-Dead-Pixel Warranty at
extra cost.
- Canada WARRANTY COVERAGE
Please Note: This
Warranty Policy is in effect as of January '99. All purchases made
before January 1999 fall under previous warranty policies that may
differ than the current posted policy.
